Hey Everyone! So as you all know by now, it's been over a week since we got back from our trip to Orlando, Flordia. Staying in Florida for two weeks has done me good; it was a fun and great learning experience. Not only did we get to visit a university and a news brodcast station, but we also got a tour around the Amway center, got the privalage to watch an official NBA game, going to theme parks and had tours, going to Gatorland, and we also got to compete at STN. But honestly, this whole trip wouldn't be possible if it weren't for Mr. M, our chaperones, and the support from everyone. So I'd just like to thank Aunty Cheryl, Aunty Shar, Aunty Linda, Uncle Glenn, Uncle Dale, Aunty Genevive and Mr.M. I'd also like to thank my parents and everyone else for the support in my fundraisers. This has been the best trip of my life! I learned so much and I got to bond with the class a lot. I don't know if you remember this blog: "How Excited Am I?" (If you don't, you can read it by clicking the hyperlink). Anyways, that blog was assigned by Mr. M, to write about your expectations for the Flordia Trip. I wrote about four expectations, number one to bond with the class, number two to meet our pen pals, number three to the STN convention, and number four, the tour of the Amway center and the game. Well, I'm just going to say straight off the bat, they were all met. I most definitely feel that I have bonded with the class; I feel much closer to some of them than I have before the trip (being that I spent 14 days with them). Not only did I get to meet both of my pen pals, but I also met my expectation of it. Both Kimberly and Brooke were really nice and I enjoyed the time I got to spend with them! My third expectation was the STN convention. Before the trip I didn't know what to expect. I was nervous, worried, and curious. But now that I have attended the convention, I know what to expect and I have a better idea of it. And my last expectation was the tour of the Amway center and the NBA game. The tour was pretty neat. They showed us around 7 floors! But I was a bit disappointed because I thought they were going to show us how they broadcasted the game, but the tour was great! You could tell media plays a big role In the Amway Center because they have a whole floor dedicated just for Media! The game was awesome also. I understood the game, and although the Orlando Magic lost, it was fun. Overall, my expectations were met and this trip has been great, yes great. Byee!!
